Week 24 continued

Giggling with Daddy!
Playing and laughing with auntie:)

Kisses for auntie:) Reading with auntie:)
We had to get a picture of this hilarious onesie! Sitting in the Bumbo chair, waiting for his big boy food. Walking Shadow

HE DID IT!

He finally rolled over on Saturday, November 15th. I was making the bed for auntie's visit, and he was playing on the ground. I turned around and there he was rolling over his shoulder and popping up on his tummy. I ran and got the camera and here are the pictures. I think he realized how excited I was, and got a big grin himself.

I caught it on video the next day:)

Week 24

He is so close to rolling over. SO CLOSE!

Some tummy time and just plain playing in preparation for the big roll over.

Yes, that is the fire alarm at the very end. No big deal, just daddy making dinner:)

Another playdate with Samantha. Evan loved all her toys!
Isn't he precious?

Week 23

Well, there weren't many pics to choose from this week. I think the whole working mom thing finally caught up to me. Between report cards, and a sick baby and hubby, there weren't many photo opps.
Evan is so close to rolling over (I wouldn't be surprised if he has rolled over at daycare and Susan is just being kind and waiting for him to do it at home before she mentions it). He also laughs now. Not just a little squeal and giggle, but a full chuckle. We are a little (okay a lot) worried about the shape of his head; he loves to sleep on his right side and it shows.

He LOVES his piano! This is what we taunt him with when trying to get him to roll over.

Week 22

5 months today! He is changing every day. Right now he loves to sit on my lap and push to a standing position, and he loves to talk.

Grandma Tammy and Papa Kirk came to stay after the Cal game. Saying good bye is always so hard. He has tried rice cereal again, but still without much success. I thought I would let grandma give it a try...the result wasn't much different.

Evan loves to play the piano, whether it is with his hands or his feet.

Now that he is such a big boy and sleeping for long stretches at night, we have a new problem. Wetting the bed. So, he was helping mama make the bed after washing the sheets two days in a row.

He decided it was so comfortable, that he would stay for awhile and snooze.

Evan celebrated his first Halloween as a pirate. Big surprise!
Not a fan of the patch! Good thing it was only on for about 2 seconds!

Me and my pirate baby:)
