Week 12

Our little Jayhawk weighed in at 11 pounds 4 ounces when he went to the doctor last week. We thought he might be sick, but turns out he may just be allergic to dogs!

He spent the week with Grandma Tammy working on his neck strength. He is amazing! Having the grandmas, and this week his auntie, here has been a lifesaver. Going back to work would have been a lot harder without them. Today we went to Nicola's to finalize Monday's arrangements. So he will be there for a month and then after that, who knows since our daycare fell through. If you know of anything, let me know.

He is comfortable in the weirdest positions, but he definitely loves to lay on his tummy!

We went to lunch with Hope and Joy.

Evan met some of his great cousins, aunties and uncles this last weekend. He met a lot more than we got pictures with, so we will have to do better in the future.

Week 11

He is getting so big, and changing every day!

Anna and Isaiah came for a visit.

We are working on a night time routine...

He spent the week with Grandma and Papa Mac since I started back to work. Evan came to work with me one day (our school is under construction), and the other pic is from my first day of school.

We are still trying to capture his smiles on camera. He has a dimple on the left and we see it more and more each day.

We celebrated my birthday by having dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory.

Week 10

This week Evan has really started to look at us, I mean really look. He has been infatuated with his dada. We have tried to catch his looks and smiles on camera, but haven't been to successful...

Evan had a play date with Samantha who is almost 12 weeks. We couldn't get them to be awake and happy at the same time, so we decided to do the photos while Evan was sleeping.

Evan also had a visit from a former student of mine. After ten minutes with little Evan her mom was offering to watch him for a month, free of charge. I will see them again on Friday, and will have to ask if she is serious. I will jump at the opportunity if she is. That way Evan gets one more month of one-on-one attention during the day. She would pick Evan up from Buckeye when she drops her daughter off, and drop him off when she picks her up. Perfect!

His grandma and papa McClure have been here all week. They will be watching him when I return to work tomorrow:(

Today, as I celebrate my 30th birthday, Evan celebrates being 10 weeks old. He went to the doctor yesterday and got his first round of shots (no pictures of that, it was too horrible to record permanently), and he weighed 10 pounds 9 ounces and was 23 inches long.
