Week 34

On Sunday Evan had a play date with Jack. I didn't catch it on camera, but Jack is a moving machine! He is all over the place, and it made me grateful that Evan is only barely able to get his butt in the air. Evan wasn't quite sure what to think of all these new toys...
...that is until he realized they could go in his mouth just like his at home! Jack may be a little bit taller, but Evan weighs almost three pounds more. It must be all that crawling that Jack is doing:)
Evan had such a blowout on Saturday, that he got a little naked time while I cleaned up. He was too cute to pass up, so here are some shots from our mini photo shoot. The pics aren't the best quality because they are taken with the video camera, but they are still pretty darn cute.

Like I said, Evan is starting to push his butt in the air, and he can scoot pretty well on his tummy when he wants to. So here are a couple of videos where he shows off his skills.

So, I think this will be his last shot in the swing. I think he has outgrown it...

...and not only because his feet hang off the seat...

...but because he can reach the mobile!

Plus, I think you can see the swing rocking back and forth in the video.


Fresh out of the bath.

He is close to outgrowing this one too, but he loves to jump so much, I think we will raise it to the last level, and hope his legs don't grow too quickly.

Tuesday morning, the boy woke up with some serious bed head!

Week 33

Evan had to fight off another cold with another round of antibiotics, but he is finally feeling better. Now we are just living with the teething and the tail end of his first diaper rash (no pun intended).

We took a trip to the park with Shadow (Evan's newest interest).

Evan plays well by himself, and he is getting more adventurous. Trying out a new way to play his piano...

...he didn't like it as much:)

Evan doesn't quite have the hang of this whole basketball thing down yet, but he loves it just the same.

Just lazin around on a Sunday afternoon.

We're still plugging away at the solids.

Like I said, he is getting interested in Shadow. About two seconds after this was taken Evan had a pretty good grasp on his ear, but all Shadow did was whimper. What a good dog!

I have been trying to get pictures or video of his two teeth and I haven't been very successful, but here is what I was able to get.

Week 32

They're here! Evan has two bottom teeth coming in. The one on his left is slightly ahead of the one on the right, but both are causing the excessive drool in the photo below. This is what he has been doing with his lip lately, trying to feel his new teeth.
Evan just absolutely enjoys his Jumpster. Now, whenever he is sitting on our laps he starts bouncing his legs.

I love that smile, and can't wait until his teeth are showing too.

Tuesday, January 6th, was the first day his teeth popped through.
