Thanksgiving

Evan got to spend some time with his cousins this Thanksgiving. Unfortunately both times he was with Brynn and Avery I left my camera at home. I will try to get some pictures from his auntie though. It is so great to see him playing with his cousins. He is old enough now to actually play with them, not just beside them.
His cousin Alysha brought her piano with her, and boy was that a treat! Not only did she give us special performances, Evan enjoyed it as well. Ooh, what is that?
I think I might like that...
Hey, when is it my turn?

Finally!
This is his favorite look right now. It looks like he is trying his hardest not to smile or laugh, but can't quite contain himself.
What do you think, is he the next Justin Timberlake?

Ten people in the house for Thanksgiving, and what do I do? Lock the bathroom door from the outside! Thank goodness for the open window and a little girl willing to crawl through it.
The perfect turkey!
The new living room setup.
A little tickle time for the cousins.
Isn't this adorable?

Our big accomplishment! This might be the most frustrating puzzle invented!
We put the tree up during Evan's nap and he was so excited when he woke up. If there is one thing he loves as much as music it's lights.

This is the look he gets when he sees the CD start to spin.
And this is what happens the second the music comes on.
Now he is not only a dancing machine, but a singing one too! He loves to sing Baby Beluga by Raffi.

Vacation

As you all know by now, Evan loves his music. We were in the backyard and he wanted the music on. So he started walking into the shed and tripped. He landed on his face! Poor little guy. He had a scab for more than a week. Here you can see the bump on his forehead and the scrape on his nose.

He wants to do everything his daddy does!

Even with his injury he is a happy boy!

One of many trips to the park during vacation.

Every time he saw Shadow run after the ball he got so excited and he'd clap and let out a loud laugh. A whole-hearted hu hu hu hu!

Pure joy!

Crescent City

The first weekend of vacation was spent in Crescent City. This is Evan's face when he was told after a seven hour drive that we weren't getting out of the car yet. We headed to the Del Norte High School football game! It was a little colder than I had anticipated. Good thing grandma had some gloves he could borrow. Despite the cold and the long drive, Evan loved the game!
Ben was inducted into our high school's Hall of Fame for football.
Look what happens when I leave the grandma's in charge!

What can I say, the boy loves his blueberries!

Ah, back in the wagon:)
