Daddy Time

We have all been enjoying my spring break. It has not only meant a lot more mommy and Evan time but Daddy and Evan time as well. Here they are waiting for the trash truck.

His favorite phrase right now is, "What's that?" Along with, "listen" as he puts his hand up to his ear.

Evan definitely takes after his daddy when it comes to being outdoors, he can't get enough! However, he is also a fan of being well rested (most of the time).

Evan is getting ready for his next round of swim lessons. Out of nowhere he started practicing his kicks, splashes, and bubbles.

Busy Boy

Evan sure is looking and acting like a little boy these days. He is talking up a storm, running and climbing everywhere, and discovering new things every day. He loves to go down the big boy slide and he definitely knows what he likes, doesn't like, wants to do and doesn't want to do.

He is very much a boy! He and his friend Mateo were having some trouble keeping their hands to themselves, as you can see below.

Evan loves water, anytime, anywhere. His latest thing is doing the dishes after helping us cook.

He is getting closer to being able to undress himself. He was so excited to find some shoes that he could put on by himself (thank you Lani).

Evan loves all forms of transportation, but the trash truck is his favorite. He loves Thursday mornings because it is trash day at Susan's and at home. Here he is watching our neighbor's trash being dumped.

"Mama, trash truck! More?"

When he was sick he didn't want to take baths, so we brought in the big trucks!

If any of you knew Casey as we were growing up, you might think that you are flashing back to the 80's, but in fact this is Evan, not Casey.

He loves to read with them in his chair or on the couch. He also loves to put them in his crib, say bye-bye, close the door, then open it and say good morning. And repeat!
