First Trip to the Movies

Evan went to the movies for the first time over the break. He went with his cousins, grandparents, and dad. I was out shopping with Sue Prock so that I can also accomplish a first, making a quilt. After the movies they went to In-N-Out, but he opted for a pb&j at home. He loved the hat though, and has been wearing it for a week when he cooks.

Vacation

We have thoroughly enjoyed our spring break. It was filled with family, fun, and big decisions. We sold our Jeep, bought an Element, and put our house up for sale. So glad that we were surrounded by family through all of those decisions. We are so lucky to be as loved as we are. Evan got to start celebrating before vacation officially started because Grandma Tammy sent an Easter basket. He was so excited, he had to call right then to say thank you.
Evan is working in the garden boxes getting them ready for planting.

I love that he is old enough to play for long periods of time on his own!

Then his cousin came, and he loved having someone to play with! It was a rude awakening when she left and he had to play alone again.

Cleaning up their chocolate soup, aka mud.

Grandma and Papa Mac were also here for a visit. Everyone enjoyed hearing the new books grandma brought with her.

Evan was enjoying the show his cousin put on during bath time. I'm not putting the video on because it shows too much, but her song went like this, "It's raining, it's pouring, Uncle Ben is snoring..." you get the idea. Evan loved it, so she did it over and over again, and he just kept on laughing.

I was so glad to have a head of hair to finally attempt the heart French braid; I need some more practice.

Hadbandz! Love this game:)

It is so hard to say goodbye, especially when you are just waking up.

Easter eggs with the cousins!

Yep, he is definitely on team Peeps!

Loving our new car! I have wanted an Element since they first came out, so excited!

Auntie, uncle and cousin came for a visit. Can't wait to meet Baby Lee!

The before shot for our summer garden.

Celebrating the fact that we finally made a decision about our house.

Froggy towel!

Easter

Evan was really able to enjoy all spring has to offer this Easter. He got three Easter baskets (two from the Easter bunny, and one from Grandma Tammy), he was able to try Peeps for the first time, he was surrounded by family, and he got to play outside the majority of the day. The Easter Bunny new all of his favorites, and introduced him to some new favorites.
" Look Mom, more Peeps!"

Yummy!

And now, off to play outside!

Cousin Brynn

So glad he is back on the slide. By the end of the day he no longer needed a hand to hold.

Evan wasn't the only one enjoying being outside in the spring air.

Evan's first Peep! Don't feel too sorry for him, the Easter Bunny saved all his other candy for his basket at his Auntie Brooke's house.
