Thanksgiving

Evan has gone to Arden Fair Mall each year to mail his letter to Santa. We are always sure to go before Thanksgiving (no crowd and Santa knows what he wants before all the big sales).

Here it is!

He matched the tree so I thought it was the perfect phote op. He did not.

This was as close as he wanted to get to Santa. I sure hope the letter makes it to the North Pole!
My new pie for this year. It was delicious!
We start the day off right, Run to Feed the Hungry! He walked half and I carried him on my back the other half. Needless to say, we both worked up an appetite.

My contribution to the appetizers. Super easy and cute.
His first kids table!

His cousins made cute placecards.
The spread!

Eureka

Since Skeet and his family were staying in Crescent for Thanksgiving, Evan and I decided to make a visit. It is Ben's busy season so he had to stay home. Grandma and Papa came to visit too and brought Cousin Alysha.
That hair is so Lee!

She let me hold her!

The Starbucks Santa

Love these girls!

Showing off her new found voice!
This is one of my favorites.

Pajama party = dance party!

He's got the moves...
...and here's the video to show it.

Saying good bye:(

Halloween

Evan's cood dude look as we headed to Susan's as Spiderman. Not an unusual occurance, but today it was Halloween!

Later we went to Titi's to go Trick-or-Treating with Reese. Titi was his spider:)
Pirate or Spiderman, big decisions.

Showing off his muscles.

Pirate Rocker?

And off we go!
It took Evan and Reese a few houses to get the hang of it. It didn't help that a lot of folks just weren't answering their door.

Aren't they cute?

As Ben took Evan to this last house, I think there was a specific conversation taking place. Because when the man opened the door, Evan didn't say trick-or-treat. Instead he asked for the score!
Tired boy, but he insisted on carrying his loot all by himself.

Pumpkin Patch

We took Evan to a pumpkin patch this year, and he got to ride a pony for the very first time. I was impressed that he actually got on since the girl in front of him had her saddle fall off as they were walking away.

Huge hay mountain!

He enjoyed it so much, we went again.

Since Evan didn't get to be the leader when he went to the pumpkin patch with Titi and Alexis, he was thrilled to lead today.

He was thrilled that this tractor could not turn on.

Evan's favorite part was the pig race!
