Let me just say, we had a fabulous Christmas filled with family visits. Unfortunately my job as photographer fell by the wayside. We were having so much fun with everyone the cameras were left out a lot of the time. So, even though Evan got to see all of his grandparents, cousins, uncles and aunties (except Auntie Alysha) as well as almost all of Ben's aunties, uncles and cousins, hardly anyone was photographed. Some things you will be glad the camera wasn't around for, like our first experience with Evan getting carsick (the last two minutes of a 7 hour car ride Christmas Eve), or Evan's first major crash (busting his lip on the pavement after falling off the trike). Despite missing those events I got some great photos of our trip to CC. This first picture is Evan getting his first look at what Santa left him.

"Is this mine?"

He thought grandma's demonstration was hilarious!

But he still didn't want to sit on the inchworm.

Ooh, Santa also left him a cookie in his stocking...

"Mama, why haven't I had these before?"

"Yum!"

Now that the cookie is gone, back to presents.

He liked unwrapping the presents, but we had to go in waves. He didn't open his next present for
at least another twenty minutes.

The post cookie meltdown.

"Really, Santa only brought me one cookie?"

Learning to play pool with Papa Kirk.

Finally, he tried the inchworm.

Of course he had to get his piano time in while it was there.

Save these pictures and I'll make sure he autographs them later when he is a famous songwriter.
