Thanksgiving

We fit twenty something people into Alysha's house for Thanksgiving this year, and it didn't feel crowded once. It was so fabulous to have so many of the people we love in one room. I hope we can get even more together next year! No, we did not coordinate our outfits ahead of time!
Evan was the entertainment after dinner. He set up his train and gave rides for a good half hour.

First Kings Game

Titi took us to Evan's first Kings game. He loved the arena and the halftime show. Not so into the game, and definitely not into Slamson...at first.

Halloween

Evan went back and forth on what he wanted to be for Halloween. As a result, he changed costumes three times before we headed to Boo at the Zoo. He had his heart set on all of us being UPS workers, but he decided it was a little too big on him in the end.
So, we tried on the logger outfit. As soon as I got the hat on, he no longer wanted to be a logger.

It was cute though:)

We tried on a pirate costume like mine, but as soon as I put the headwrap on, it was a no go. So, he went as a skier.

Boo at the Zoo was okay, very cold. We didn't like standing in line to trick-or-treat, so we took him to some houses in the zoo neighborhood too.

Getting Ready for Halloween

Evan has enjoyed a month filled with jack-o'-lanterns and Halloween books. Unfortunately, with every book we read, he changed his mind on a costume. We were going to use the jack-o'-lantern costume Grandma Mac bought, but it is just a tad too small. He couldn't stop tugging on it. So, tonight we decided he will be a logger. Cut off jeans, a flannel, boots, and a chainsaw. I will post pics. Orange, orange, everywhere!
