Christmas Eve and Christmas

Since Santa's favorite cookies are chocolate chip, we made a fresh batch just for him.
Evan enjoyed helping me clean up!
We went to the movies and watched Monsters Inc in 3-D, and then it was home to open our Christmas Eve presents.

New jammies and slippers for all.
Letter to Santa

Can't forget the carrots for the reindeer. They must have left in a hurry, because we found three carrots on the roof of our garage.
Oh he came, the stockings are full!

And the presents are under the tree!
Santa brought everything Evan asked for. Ninja Turtle vehicle, Leonardo, Splinter, and magnetic blocks.

Since Grandma Tammy and Uncle Casey were home, we Skyped while we opened presents. Evan showed them his cookie and everything else.

The aftermath!
Breakfast was delicious! Unfortunately, Titi was too sick to enjoy it with us. She was back downstairs sleeping.

Evan played the day away, stopping every once in awhile to eat.

A game of Disney Hedbandz anyone?

Titi joined us for a little while as our time keeper.
Ben got me a new heater for Christmas. Unfortunately we ended up exchanging it because it was a little on the bright side. I watched an entire movie this way and fell asleep on the couch.
Enjoying his new presents.
Titi got him the trampoline and Grandma Tammy got him the Leap Pad that is playing his music.

We were supposed to drive home the day after Chrtistmas, but plans changed. Instead I spent a very scary week in the hospital with Alysha. We did Christmas with my dad in the hospital and the car, and later that night at home while grandma stayed at the hospital with Titi. I missed Christmas number three with my mom, Kirk, and the girls because I chose to stay at the hospital instead. These are pictures of Christmas number four with Grandma and Papa Mac. By this point Titi was home safe in her own bed. More on her visit to the hospital in another post.

Trying out the fireplace hoping to reduce our $600 electric bill! I know!
