Week 37

Evan celebrated his first Valentine's Day surrounded by those who love him. As you will see in the pictures and videos, he visited with Grandma Tammy, Papa Kirk, Grandma and Papa Mac, and the Seales. These first photos were taken this morning, and he is jumping of course. It is his favorite pastime. Isn't this one a great shot of his teeth? The boy of a million faces has returned!
I think this smile may get him out of trouble some day...

Saying good-bye to Papa Kirk and Grandma Tammy.
Evan gobbled up his banana, peach, and granola this weekend. So, we decided to let him experiment with a sippy cup. To be honest, he was far more interested in the camera than the cup or its contents.

Lots of play time at the Seales' house on Sunday.
Chillin with his Papa Kirk...
...and his Grandma Mac.
Showing off his new outfit!
The baby version of the runway.
Okay, enough!
We have been working on kisses. So, he decided to get in some practice with Avery's Hannah Montana glitter bear.

And on Avery too!

He really enjoyed his cousin's beanbag chair (even if it is purple).
Some tickle time with grandma. I am not sure who is tickling who though...

You can see that they both have a surprised look on their faces in this next picture. Literally seconds after we buttoned the last button, Evan let out a noise that resulted in the brand new outfit being immediately stripped from his body.
And we made it in time! No poopoo on the new outfit, yay!
Another great shot of his teeth!
Our little cutie got his hands on a little cutie and went to town.
Did they see that?
Yup!
They're letting me get away with it!
Playing with grandma's i Phone

While waiting for the grandparents to arrive, Evan rolled from one end of his room to the other, and then we had a photo shoot.
This is his pouty look.
His precious look.
His mischievous look.
His all business look.
His playing with the camera look.
And of course, his I'm bored look.

Week 36

Evan is rolling from his belly to his back like a champ! He has also just recently started a new phase of "talking." He now says the same string of sounds together over and over. This last weekend it sounded like he was saying, " I did it," over and over again. Now, when you watch the video, you may not agree, but that is what Ben and I thought.
Evan smiles whenever he sees his daddy, but especially in the jumpster.
In the video below you can hear all the ranges of his laughter. He has become very ticklish in the last couple of weeks. His chest and thighs get a giggle almost every time.
We have discovered that Evan eats much more if it is coming from Ben.
This is his first taste of green beans.

"Really mom, a picture of every new food?"
"Seriously, I'm done."
In these pictures he sure does look like a crawler, but he isn't quite there yet.

In this video he shows off his B-Boy skills!

8 Month Birthday Bath

Evan was having a great time in the bath last night... You can finally see his bottom teeth in this picture!

He laughed so hard I just had to get the camera...

Week 35

Evan is 35 weeks today, and 8 months tomorrow! Time has gone by so fast! The little man is so close to getting his butt and belly in the air at the same time. I may have said it before, but we are so not ready for that.
He shows his two teeth a lot more now, but I still haven't managed to get them on camera. We get to see them when he smiles now too, not just when he cries.
Evan had a visit with the Seales on Sunday. I think there will be some dress up tea parties in his future, since Avery was already trying to put his hair in a barrette.
It could be rough being the only boy.
Brynn, Avery, and Evan

He is already working on those top teeth.
Evan had a visit from Sue on Saturday.

While she was here he got his belly and butt in the air at the same time, but we both started clapping and cheering so loudly that he started crying.

Evan loves sitting in front of the sliding glass door; it is like one big mirror.
What?
Doesn't he look too skinny when you can't see his legs?

Where did my banana go?
He wasn't sure what to think at first, but after awhile he really enjoyed chasing the banana around his tray.

Evan needed a little exercise after all that "eating" and I needed some time to clean up!
