Fairytale Town and the Zoo

After we returned from Crescent City, Grandma and Papa Mac came for a visit. So, they took all the grand kids to Fairytale Town and the Sacramento Zoo. King Arthur's Castle

Little Old Lady Who Lived In a Shoe

Teepee...not sure which story this went with.
Hippo!
Three Little Pigs

Cinderella?
Robin Hood
The Little Engine That Could

I think this was his favorite:)
Big piece of cheese! The cheese stands alone.

Pirate Ship

On to the zoo...

Giraffes are my favorite. I really had to hold back on how many pics I posted.

Baby tiger, then the mama tiger.
Leopard
And now the baby and the mam are together.
Thought we were going to lose Brynn over the fence on this one.
Another favorite, can you tell. I guess we should just be happy there weren't any elephants. I might not have been able to hold back.

Hot, tired, time for Merlinos.

Treasure Hunt in the Redwoods

We had big plans to go geocaching in the redwoods, but didn't count on their being no signal! So, we just cruised around and hid "treasure" for Evan to find. It took him awhile to warm up to the big trees, but eventually he loved them.

Oh, and our last night in town we went to the Cantrell wedding. It was beautiful.
And on the way home, Evan got his fingers shut in the car door. Ouch! But, as soon as he got ice, he was fine. He didn't use it for his fingers of course...he ate it.

Big Flat Cabin

We spent the night up at Grandma and Papa Mac's cabin in Big Flat. Evan had fun playing with his cousins and sneaking up to the loft with daddy. He also had fun having a huge area just to run! Not such a big fan of the water.

I love this one! It is my screen saver at school right now.

His cousins loved the water!

In the loft like a big boy.

"Not swing, football!"
