Week 14

You would never guess he was a premie. He is all about "agoo" noises, chewing on his hands, and slobbering. We think he may be teething already, but what do we know? I tried to get a picture of his gums for you all, but that didn't go over so well. Don't worry, there are some other choice pics below...
Evan's first Promethean board training. He really was a trooper during this two hour training. He slept for the first hour and a half, had a quick snack, and then lat out a man burp. It was great!
A lot of cute outfits worn this week (first time wearing those all important shoes). WARNING! Disgusting mess ahead...

He was so happy sitting in his swing while mama cleaned the bathtub. Thank goodness that was the one chore I chose to do, since when I went to get him out of the swing, this is what I discovered! It was so amazing I had to take pictures since I was home alone (so, sorry if you just lost your lunch). Everything involved went straight in the trash!
So happy to be out of the messy diaper. Getting in some tummy time.
Resting up before the big play date...

We had a play date with two other couples from our Prepared Childbirth classes. Evan, Ian and snoozin Jack.
Kickin it with his baby buddies...
Really, Evan wasn't this unhappy the entire time.

Mid-day Hello

Nicola had Evan send me a mid-day hello. If you watch carefully he winks twice at the end.

First Day Away From Home

Evan had his first day away from home today. He got to wear his "first day of school" outfit since it was a little chilly this morning (you know, in the fifties). Nicola said he had a great day, and after school he slept through almost an entire Promethean training.

Week 13

Evan spent his 13th week with his Auntie Alysha. I think they both were in heaven:)

Auntie Alysha got pretty good at catching his smiles on camera.

Evan had his first fair experience at the state fair on Saturday.

We all know Evan loves to eat, but doesn't he look especially happy to have his Cousin Alysha feeding him?

Snuggle time with Uncle Skeeter (even with the scratchy face).

Evan visited with a lot of family this week, including the Seales. His cousin Avery has a magical touch; he just loves her!

Week 12

Our little Jayhawk weighed in at 11 pounds 4 ounces when he went to the doctor last week. We thought he might be sick, but turns out he may just be allergic to dogs!

He spent the week with Grandma Tammy working on his neck strength. He is amazing! Having the grandmas, and this week his auntie, here has been a lifesaver. Going back to work would have been a lot harder without them. Today we went to Nicola's to finalize Monday's arrangements. So he will be there for a month and then after that, who knows since our daycare fell through. If you know of anything, let me know.

He is comfortable in the weirdest positions, but he definitely loves to lay on his tummy!
