Spring Break and Then Some

A few weeks ago Evan had his cousins over for a visit. They had fun snuggling on the couch, eating popcorn, and watching TV. Of course they enjoyed doing many other things together, but this was the only time all three of them were moving slow enough for me to snap a picture.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Now let's hurry, I want to see the bus!

Evan has had many visitors and play dates over spring break, but we have been having so much fun I keep forgetting to get the cameras out. Grandpa Bob was here for a few days, and we have no pictures! Here he is giving kisses to grandma, papa, and mama.

A little night night time with Pooh and Diego. Of course five seconds later it is "good morning, out."

Our little Jayhawk is going through a phase where he really doesn't like to have his pants (or diaper) back on once he has escaped his dirty diaper.

I told him no Skyping without pants!
He didn't agree!
Happy Easter!
Look mama, a book!

He didn't hesitate with the cookie one bit! He knew exactly what to do.
He finally finished the big Easter egg cookie today. It was huge!

"Yellow mama. Blue car!"

"Truck book mama!" The Easter bunny sure knew what he likes:)
"Ready, titi's mama! Daddy, titi's! Let's go!"
Books with Uncle Skeeter

One very tired little boy...
...but not so tired he can't chase Tres and Buddy up and down Auntie's hallway.
That's right, pajama top, diaper and boots!
Play date with Samantha
"Blue slide mama!"

"More!"
I did not teach him this!

Evan finally got to boo someone for real. Unfortunately for Samantha she was on the receiving end.

New elephant shirt from grandma's trip to the San Diego Zoo.

Playing with Shadow and Jenny. Evan has loved having two dogs over the break. He is going to be very sad when the Procks take Jenny home.
"Running mama!"
Out of nowhere one day a few weeks ago Evan pointed to something and said, "blue." Wouldn't you know, it actually was blue. Within a week he had all the major colors down. When he says red, green, and brown he kinda growls his r, it is very cute. When grandma and papa were here he could match the fish to its color, but couldn't put the pieces in. He has been doing puzzles up the wazoo this week and now does this one with ease. We have even gone to the library to do the puzzles there because he can't get enough. We have enjoyed our break together reading, playing, and watching traffic rather than driving in it. It has been great! Can't wait for summer.
