We took one last trip before summer vacation ended. We spent four days in Crescent City. We didn't have any commitments other than Zumba on National Dance Day. It was nice because then we could just relax and enjoy everyone's company rather than running around from one event to the next. We spent one night at the cabin. Evan enjoyed it and played in the water despite the cold.
Easing in:)
Shadow did not understand what they were doing...
And they're done! They did eventually go all the way across.
Evan's first time with the jets in Grandma Mac's tub!
Uncle Skeeter had everyone over for a BBQ. The cousins enjoyed the pool.
Evan got dressed to swim, but didn't get in. Diana said, "Are you sure? Uriah's going to get in." Evan's response? "I DON'T WANT MY EYE TO GO IN!"
He was happy just to watch and run around with all the dogs.
Cecelia warmed up to me much more quickly this time. We played and played!

Playing in Cecelia's new room
She is on the move.
Girl cousins (minus Kaleya).
Their new living room. Isn't it beautiful?
The loft. You can see the stairs on the far right. At about 9:30 (way past bedtime) the cousins had been playing hard. Evan took a tumble from about halfway down. Not a slip, more like a flip. I didn't see it, and it is a good thing. Ben was pretty freaked out! The house doctor checked his eyes and back before we left. He has a nasty bruise on his back, a small one on his shoulder, and then a scrape on his forehead. He went up and down grandma's stairs multiple times when we got to her house. When he woke up the next morning I asked if anything hurt. He said he had to sleep on his ears because his head hurt (big goose egg), but other than that he is fine.
The cousins found Auntie and Uncle's wedding video and watched it over and over again, dancing to the music. Thank goodness they are too little know what a bachelor party is:)
