Evan used his new gardening tools to plant his flower seeds. He has enjoyed watching them grow every day. Thank you Connie!
Since we decided not to go home for the 4th of July, we have struggled with finding activities that would give us a similar small town experience. I guess moving to the country helps. We went to the fireworks show in El Dorado Hills the night before and it was great!
We drove to Pleasant Valley and enjoyed their games and parade. These guys were the Lawnchair Brigade and they were hilarious!
Ben really wanted Evan to ride his bike in the parade, but Evan wasn't into it. He decorated his bike, but decided to watch this year and decide if he wanted to do it next year.
Well, that backfired! Now he never wants to be in the parade because he wants to catch the candy.
We were invited to celebrate with the Kammans, and we jumped at the chance. We love their family, and hey, we all know they throw great shindigs:)
The boys wer enjoying the slip-n-slide when we got there. They were stepping it up a level at this point.
Evan really enjoyed the photo booth!
Lola enjoyed choosing his accesories.
Some of Evan's photography.
LOLA!
Another successful party:) We finished the night off at the Seales for smores and fireworks.
You would think that they were watching a very intriguing video. Nope, just Pandora:)
It did get them up and dancing though:)
Before
After
He looks so much older with his new hair cut!
And he looks ready for preschool:)
A little bird house craft.
Not done yet. He really enjoyed mixing the colors, but then wanted to go back to the original colors for some finishing touches.
Evan was so excited to have Caleb over to play. They were so silly, but played really well.
These are the only pictures I have that aren't blurred. They move so quickly!
Our summer breakfast of choice.
Working on his Cars workbooks. Thank you Sue:)
AMAZING lightning storm. It started on our ride home from The Little Mermaid, and I sat outside for an hour or more just watching.
