52 weeks! I wasn't sure I would actually be able to keep the blog going this long, but I reached my goal. I don't know that I will continue to update it every week, but I must say, it is a habit now, so we'll see.
This week he got a big boy haircut, and had his first big boy cry. Shadow came into the room (a little too excitedly), and knocked into Evan. He bumped his head on the door, and cried so hard that he got the hiccups. I think he had that reaction because he was a little out of sorts because of his cold. Normally he would just keep on movin, but instead he needed a snuggle with his mommy. No complaints here:)
He is so proud of himself, you can see his dimples from his big grin.
Even with the new haircut we get the bangs flip after a nap.
Where'd they go?
We postponed his pictures until this weekend when he wasn't feeling well on Saturday. Good thing we did, since he woke up Sunday with his eyes and nose crusted shut. Poor baby. You can see how sad his eyes look below, but honestly, he was still a pretty happy camper despite it all.
He is so proud of himself, you can see his dimples from his big grin.

He woke up Saturday with a cold. He didn't feel like eating anything off of a spoon (I think because he was so stuffed up), but he still loved his graham crackers.
Evan got his first big boy haircut. Kathleen was impressed by how well he sat through it. She has a daughter his age, and she said there is no way she would have made it through an entire haircut in one sitting. He was so entertained by watching everyone getting their hair done, especially those getting their hair dried. He loves that noise! He looks so much like a little boy now. 
In the past few weeks his interest in his toys has changed. He no longer will just chew on or look at his toys. Now there has to be something to figure out. He now knows how to make all the noises work! Here Evan is playing with his polar bears and penguins toy that Julie passed on to us.

Evan is going to be quite the little helper when it comes to chores. In this video he is sorting laundry, Evan style. This went on for ten minutes or so, but the video is only about thirty seconds. He would take every piece of clothing out of the hamper, put them back, take them out, and so on. He loved it!
